RE: unable to attach to shared memory
Posted in 2005
Correct, but I'm using TCP for a while without
configuring a nettype for shared memory.
This is my only nettype and it was working until recently.
NETTYPE tlitcp,14,80,NET # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype
I contacted Informix Support on this and they point to
SHMBASE 0xa000000 # Shared memory base address
according to machine notes it should be: 0x10A000000
The uppercase A is not the issue the 10 is.
I'll find out tonight when bouncing the system if this works.
Thanks anyway for the reply.
