Access V4 via Win 95/NT ODBC or HP Unix

Folks, we have a "failure to communicate". We have a proprietary device (an Aspect Telephone System) which has an _ancient_ Informix Version 4 database running internal. There are no options to upgrade the "Informix database" to a "this century" version -- as, this V4 implementation is a "black box" provided by the vendor -- and they don't offer any option to upgrade. As far as this database goes, we actually don't maintain it at all, we just have read-only access to the data elements. The only successful access we have been able to accomplish is via 16-bit ODBC drivers under Windows 3.1 or the same 16-bit ODBC drivers under Windows 95. In reality, we have a situation where we need to access this database under one of the following environments: 32-bit ODBC via Windows 95 32-bit ODBC via Windows NT HP Unix We've tried various combinations of drivers, etc... but are coming up dry. The Informix "Version 7" ODBC drivers are too "new" to deal with this "ancient" Version 4 database. Any suggestions on how we might have real-time access to this old version of Informix via "new" tools, such as 32-bit ODBC would be most appreciated. Regards...
