SIGHUP while in critical section

What happens if the sqlturbo process receives a kill -1 when it is in a critical section? This situation could happen when the terminal loses the connection and Unix sends a SIGHUP to the process group. The manual is ambiguous about this. It say that using kill while the process is in a critical section will cause an Online abort. Does this apply to sighup (kill -1) as well? David W Chan Objective Research Ltd dwc@cix.compulink.co.uk
