Problem initializing

Hi, It's been a while since I've created an instance and were using a 3rd party app from HP called Praesidum that uses Informix underneath. The platform is HP-UX 10.2 with Informix 7.11.UC2 During the initial install of Praecidum the Informix online instance is initialized for the first time. This fails complaining about a Fatal error in shared memory initialization. BUT the online.log file contains the following message: --------------------------- Tue Nov 3 10:32:12 1998 10:32:12 DR: DRAUTO is 0 (Off) 10:32:12 The chunk '/var/opt/odss/authpdb/authpdbs' must have owner-ID and group-ID set to informix. 10:32:12 INFORMIX-OnLine Stopped. 10:32:12 mt_shm_remove: WARNING: may not have removed all/correct segments ----------------------------- The permissions on the chunk are as follows: chihdp03:[3579]-> ll /var/opt/odss/authpdb/authpdbs -rw-rw---- 1 informix informix 0 Nov 3 10:32 /var/opt/odss/authpdb/authpdbs I've also checked out the kernal params on the machine and they appear ok.
