Stored Procedure and SET EXPLAIN

I hav a stored procedure and I think that it's slow... I'd like to improve it's performance. But how can I use SET EXPLAIN with stored procedure to see the costs and all that stuff that I can see when using a normal query ? Thanks in advance, Denis Heliszkowski.
