ODBC and VisualBasic 6.0

Hi, I have to write an application in Visual Basic 6.0 that using Informix database. I want to use Data Environment (Ado) but all my ODBC drivers don't work properly. Version 2.80 of ODBC Informix drivers not work at all ( VB is blowing out), and version 3.10 cannot do INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE (dataenvironment.recordset.addnew, update and delete - error occurs -2147217842). I can do that only as storage procedures or making Command with INSERT,UPDATE and DELETE. I've tried set WorkAround=29 in ODBC DataSource but nothing happend. Please, help me to resolve my problem!!!!! Give me the ODBC that really works!!!! Milosz

Hi Milosz, I am not sure if this will work or not, but in the ODBC DSN Setup, there should be a place where you could turn scrollable cursors ON. Try doing that.
