Dear all One solution to the barcode problem is to use a device called a label-coder this is sold by a company in the UK call Image Computer Systems Ltd Bassed in Poole Dorset on the English south cost. This unit can be added internally to OKI printers or added as an external unit I think the unit will work with any Epson type printer. The unit simply extends the printers command set by sitting between the computer and the printer. If you want more readable bar codes and longer lasting you could go for Thermal transfer. The TEC range have a good reputation in this country although the running costs can be quite high. As they say You only get what you pay for.
