Re: Informix migration from 486 to Pentium maybe a FAQ (sorry if so!)

Is this so? If it is, what do I have >to do/pay to upgrade the informix, please. I don't think so ... our company develops using a "Interactive"-version of Informix 4GL, first running on a 386 with Eurix, then a 486, upgraded to Generics and the last 2, 3 months on Linux (sic!). Code compiled using that version (and Eurix' C compiler) is known to run on several different x86-Unix-boxes (though none with a Pentium yet) using different version of Informix 4GL runtime, including Sinix on an MX-300i and SCO ... I don't think that if THAT works, another processor should break the code (except floating point operations, maybe ... :-))) ) -gg --- SysOp@INSIDER Even the trees had been a bad move ...
