INET Mac Unix Star

I am using INET on the Mac running os 7.5.1 and connecting to
ISTAR on the HP9000/832 HP-UX server running Informix Online
5.0. The Mac sw using INET is BrioQuery. One of the problems
so far is dates. Nothing shows in the date column in the
BrioQuery queries. I have set the environment parameter in
Apple:Control Panels:SetNet called DBDATE to mdy2/ but it
doesn't seem to matter. I start the Star deamon in /etc/rc.local
as follows:
INFORMIXDIR=/la/informix: export INFORMIXDIR SQLEXEC=$INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlturbo; export SQLEXEC
$INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexecd
I thought that maybe I should have set the DBDATE here also
so I added the following line after INFORMIXDIR=...
DBDATE=mdy2/; export DBDATEbut I haven't been able to reboot the Unix box to see if this
changes anything. I did kill the sqlexecd process and restart
it with the above environment variables set but this made no
difference. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Dick
