Bug or Feature?

OnLine 7.22.UC1X2, HP-UX 10.20 I have two variables defined 'like' database columns as follows this_price like <money(7,2)>, and this_time like <decimal(3,1)> A program I was running (I4GL 6.04.UC1) was adding non-null values to these variables. When the max precision was exceeded the variables became null. I got no error messages about exceeding max precision or the like (like when you go above a smallint). It simply turned null, and took me about an hour to track down. Does anyone know if this is a bug or a feature? TIA
