Once you run a 5.0 engine it makes the changes in the database. You can continue to use 4.0 with these databases. I don't know how the change could have happened, unless, could someone have run 5.0 at some time? ############################################################################# # Lester Knutsen lester@access.digex.net # # Advanced DataTools Corporation Voice: 703-256-0267 # # Providing Informix Database Tools and Consulting # #############################################################################
