What version of ESQL/C (CSDK) have you installed? Is that version a fresh install or was restored from old backup? (wrong LD?PATH?) Re-check the CSDK installation, try a demo esqlc program ($INFORMIXDIR/demo/esqlc/*.ec). HTH
