Broken connections

Hi all, =20 I'm seeking an advice to detect broken and cut connections to an INFORMIX instance. =20 I got a SUN BOX running ids 9.40 =20 I found that I can tune up a parameter in Solaris for tcp. it is 'tcp_keepalive_interval' =20 Using this command 'ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_keepalive_interval 60000' (this is configured to remain 1 minute) it seems to work, but in certain clients when connection is broken it remains as connected 10 minutes. =20 Does anyone know another consideration about this? =20 =20 thanks in advance. =20 =20 ---------------------------------------------- P.
