IDS Workgroup Edition

I'm shopping Informix server software for a small SCO Unix server to run 4GL applications. It's starting out at about 10 users, and future growth is a little vague at this point. The Informix sales rep gave me a quote on both regular Dynamic Server and Workgroup edition, with a price premium of about 500% for the full-strength version. He described Workgroup Edition as "smaller footprint, less scalable." My question is, what's missing from Workgroup Edition to make it so much cheaper? The marketing material on the Informix website makes them both sound equally wonderful. I would appreciate advice from anyone who has had experience with the two versions, and has ideas about appropriate uses for Workgroup Edition.
