Hi Folks, We use JDBC driver 1.2 and want to update to 1.6 and 2.0. When you retrieve a varchar or lvarchar field in 1.2 the content of the field is returned without trailing spaces. In 1.6 and 2.0 the returned content has trailing spaces up to the length of the field. Does anyone know a property or setting that will retain the old behavior, so no trailing spaces will be returned for varchar and lvarchar fields? Wilbert wilbert@vpro.nl
Oeps, the trailing spaces are returned for char and varchar fields, not for varchar fields. :) Wilbert Wilbert Hengst wrote: > > Hi Folks, > > We use JDBC driver 1.2 and want to update to 1.6 and 2.0.
