Xfer from Test to Devel

When we transfer between Test and Development (located on same machine), I typically do an DBEXPORT from test followed by an DBIMPORT into development. This is a slow process. Are other options available? For instance, can I create a onpload image of my test environment, unload test, and reload into development using the image. Steve Romankiw
