Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Dirch:
If you version of INFORMIX 4GL is Version 4.1 or above, you should
be able to use the following functions to do what you intend to do:
fgl_lastkey() returns an integer code of the last key entered.
fgl_keyval() returns the key code of the specified character
or action for use in checking against a value returned by the fgl_lastkey()
Example:
To check for specified key:
If fgl_lastkey() = fgl_keyval("f7") then
..............................
end if
To check for specified action:
If fgl_lastkey() = fgl_keyval("insert") then
...............................
end if
For more details on these 2 functions, you can check the INFORMIX-4GL
supplement Version 4.1 .
