HELP! SE versus Online

We have been on Informix SE forever (on Unix v.4 NCR/AT&T). Anyhow, I just lost my Informix DBA and was told that I have until Thursday to decide if we should go to ever convert 300 sites to the Online version. I can't remember how to sign on to Informix so I certainly do not remember the pros and cons. Anyhow, I know this is a broad question, but any tips would be appreciated. More than anything, I guess I am wondering about if Online would require a significant amount of resources, and if the effort to convert from Informix 4GL on SE to Online will make our lives a living hell or not. I always intended to get us to Online someday, but quite honestly I can't remember why anymore, since SE has held up well. Thanks.
