4GL Question about CONSTRUCT
Hi Informixers, is it possible to change the search expression created by the CONSTRUCT statement? What I want to do: - do an UPSHIFT of the contents of a field in the screen form and redisplay the contents to that field. I cannot use the UPSHIFT attribute in the form definition because the upshift should happen only under certain conditions. - automatically add a "*" to a field so the user doesn't have to type in the wildcard character himself I know how to get the contents of a field with the GET_FLDBUF() function, but what I need is some kind of PUT_FLDBUF(). Any help appreciated!
