4GL program crashes engine!

I'm trying to port a 4GL application from v5.08 to v7.23 UC7, both on HP-UX 10. (I know next-to-nothing about 4GL). I've re-complied the 4GL application. It runs for some time, then crashes the 7.23 engine. The statement at which it's failing is: execute procedure proc1(proc2()) proc2 appears to have returned the value 17 I've tried this under dbaccess and it works OK. I've also set up a 4GL program to execute just the above, and that doesn't crash the engine either. Any and all ideas gratefully considered Thanks Neil Truby Londis Holdings London, UK
