Informix 7.13 on DEC Unix 4

We're running Informix Online DS 7.13.UC2 on DEC Alpha machines. Our machines are running DEC Unix v3.2c, which is what Informix wants us to use. However, there are some problems with DEC Unix 3.2c, but to resolve them we are told to move to DEC Unix 4.0. I'm trying to run Informix on the new 4.0 OS, but it won't initialize the shared memory: 14:50:55 shmat: [EINVAL][22]: shared memory base address illegal 14:50:55 using 0x2414000, needs 0x2800000 14:50:55 mt_shm_init: can't create virtual segment The SHMBASE is set to 0x800000 like it is supposed to be. Is there a way around this? Will there be a version of Informix that will run on DEC Unix 4 any time soon? Thanks for your input. - Jeff Diaz, DBA jdiaz@accustaff.com
