Maximum page number IS FIXED That's the way I understood it, despite our marketing claims. The only "workaround" I've heard of is that the offset and size can each be up to 2GB. It doesn't answer the 2GB chunk size issue, but does allow 4GB volumes to be used. I haven't tried that stunt myself and I do know it isn't officially supported. I'd rather have the administrative burden of chopping up a bunch of 2GB volumes than risk the integrity of my data.
