The following worked fine for me using 5.03.UC1 on HPUX A.09.00:
CREATE TABLE try (try DATETIME YEAR TO SECOND);
INSERT INTO try VALUES ('1995-08-17 08:00:00');
INSERT INTO try VALUES ("1995-08-17 08:00:00");
Also tried the same INSERTs in 4GL (RDS 4.11.UC2) with no problems.
o specific version?
o platform-dependant bug?
