I have a question related to a Windows based development product. We are developing a product on Windows95, using ANSI C++, running against an Informix Online 7.2 database. We have developed a 3 tier architecture, although our business layer currently runs on the client. My question is this: how can I handle nested logical units of work? * I initiate a LUW process (update contract) * I decide to update a person's address in the context of this action. * I want the address update to be persistant regardless of the outcome of the contract transaction. * The address LUW is nested within the contract LUW.
