The equivalent is systables. To list all tables use
SELECT tabname FROM systables
For more details of system tables see the Informix Guide to SQL: reference
manual.
As to posting the differences between Oracle and Informix statements I think
you really need to read the Informix Guide to SQL: Syntax manual. I
couldn't hope to define what is different between Oracle and Informix except
that IMHO the Informix syntax is better.
