It will allow her to use the view, but not to grant permissions so other can use it. I should have mentioned that in the original posting. Sorry! I have received several replies suggesting the GRANT and one person who encountered a similar problem with 4.1 this past fall. Help me, Mr. Wizard! :-) - Mike
