Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I am developing a client/server application using informix 7.2/Solaris
2.5 as the server and PCs running MSAccess2.0 as the client with
InterSolve DataDirect 2.11 ODBC driver and I-Net 5.x.
I have noticed that when a client dies in the middle of a transaction
(between the ODBC calls BeginTrans and CommitTrans), the thread on the
server never dies and never releases the locks. The same thing happens
when I kill a dbaccess session, so the problem does not seem to be
limited to ODBC connections.
Does anyone know a workaround to this problem?
