The question was: In the company we have IDS 7.32 and want to do some tests of availability with HDR, we need to know if this version is necessary to license the HDR. Answer: First, it is unlikely that you have IDS7.32. The last release in the 7.xx series was 7.31. That said, 7.31 included HDR support with your license, however, you have to have a license for the secondary server as well. If you have not been using HDR up until now, it is unlikely that you are licensed for more than a single server instance. I would STRONGLY recommend that you upgrade to the latest release of IDS - 11.50xC7 or later. The new licensing may allow you to upgrade while only paying for ongoing support if you can use the Innovator-C Edition. Contact IBM or an IBM partner near you (if you don't know who your local IBM Informix partner is, email me directly and I'll put you in touch with the right people).
