Has anyone used the MetaCube Warehouse Optimizer? Dr. Claudia Chandra gave a very interesting presentation at IWUG but there is almost nothing on www.informix.com. The potential benefits (greatly reduced query elapsed times and resource utilization) seem huge compared to costs (additional storage for recommended aggregations now and indexes 'soon'). How significant were the performance improvements and how accurate were the estimates?
