AdaSAME and ESQL/Ada

Does anyone have any success or failure stories involving use of AdaSAME or ESQL/Ada? Has anyone been able to successfully generic-ize using AdaSAME in their applications? (e.g. use the same set of OPEN, FETCH, etc. routines, but with different tables, columns, and where's, as parameters in some way?)
