So where are the connectors to other databases?
I really like to access SqlServer/Oracle/Db2 etc., from dbaccess for
example but I always read that you need the gateway product for this -> $$$.
That's pity because, as you said, that [is] a very powerful feature but
a complicated one to use I think.
For example with some help here (Savio-Pinto) and some learning of Books
online I could access Informix data from Sql-Server through OLE-DB in
more or less 3 days (joining tables from sql-server vs informix ones for
ie); It maybe isn't the best way to do it but for simple purposes it
helps me a lot.
So there is a feature I want for the next version of IDS, if it happen
of course:
"Easy" Federation.
