Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
hello,
i would like to import backup files from an old IDS (version 7.20.UC5) to
the new IDS (version 9.40.UC3).
the backup files are like XXX.unl.gz and XXX.sql,
where XXX is the file name. to every "XXX.unl.gz" file there
is a "XXX.sql" file.
how do i proceed?

1. gunzip *.gz
2. create an empty database
3. for i in *.sql
do
dbaccess dbname $i
done
4. Use the dbload command to load up the *.unl files.
