Either or both.
If you run it in the query language option (withthe menus and editor,
etc), it is a syntax error.
If you run it from the command line "dbaccess database script",
then it is a valid (but undocumented) shell escape -- at least,
when I last tested it in ISQL it worked, and I think it is in
DB-Access too...
