Basically that you are using tcp to communicate with the engine and that
the engine is currently waiting on the client to give it a command.
There are two "mode wait' conditions that are often seen from the onstat
-g ses or from onstat -g ath. These are netnorm (for tcp connections) and
smread (for shared memory clients). These are the conditions when the
engine thread is waiting for the client to give it a command. It could be
that the client program is waiting on input from a keyboard or for some
other reason, but basically it means that the thread is waiting for the
client to give it somthing to do.
