In my Admin Guide Version 7.1 Page 40-57 it gives the syntax
onspaces -d <blobspace or dbspace>
This drops the whole dbspace(!) and there is a note at the bottom of
the page saying
Important: Do not specify a pathname when you are dropping a dbspace
or blobspace.
Page 40-59 talks about dropping just a chunk and gives the syntax
-d <blobspace/dbspace> -p <pathname> -o <offset>
This drops just that chunk and there is a note at the bottom of
the page saying
Important: You must psecify a pathname to indicate to OnLine that you
are dropping a chunk.
