Configuring locks on a Sun 4 for I-SE 4.10

Dear netlanders, Please apologize if the following question is a RTFM. We just did a port on a customer configured system and do not have access to all documentation that might be out there. The existance of .lok files suggests that Informix SE 4.10 does not use kernel locking on Sun 4 systems. We get an ISAM error -134 "No more locks" during inserts or updates exceeding 64 rows. How should SE and/or the OS be configured if the default number of locks is not sufficient?
