We are running AIX 4.1.2 and SE 5.02, 4GLRDS 4.1, 4GL 4.1, and SQL and they all work fine even with the new C compiler. As an added advantage you can use the architecture and tune flag to optimize the code for your specific machine (power,power2, power pc) if you are running the C compiled version of 4GL. I got a 5% boost on execution time on one application. Everything so far has worked well with 4.1. I haven't had any application compatability problems yet.
