SP Question: System Command

What can be my problem if a system command cannot be executed from within an SP on some servers, but it can on others? SE7x, SCO5 One server creates a 668 and 1 error, another creates a 668 and 2 error, a third works fine... with what is designed to be the same config on each server (same user executing SP, same db, same paths, etc.). The errors: 668 is "system command cannot be executed", 1 is "not owner", 2 is "no file or directory"). Any clues offered would be appreciated, thanks.

Maybe the owner of the file is someone else and execute permissions on that file are not granted to group and/or others. Error 2 should be the result of a missing file. ******************************************************************************* * Any opinions written in this e-mail are my own. Thank you for a quick reply. When the command fails, the login user is "root" (other user logins have been tried with the same results). Root has dbadmin authority. The files and directories are in place. Might there be any other situations that would create these errors? Lane O.
