According to the ports database on > InformixLink, we can get Informix Online (DSA) 6.00.UE1 for a DEC > ALPHASERVER 1000 4/200 that runs version 3.0 of OSF/1. Informix can't tell you what patches to install because it's not their software, and DEC can't tell you what Informix requires because it's not their software. Be careful of getting ahead of Informix, they don't support the very latest O/S. Of course, DEC won't support anything else! There are a couple of bugs in 7.1, though. Some updates won't process more than 129 rows, but they return a success status! Other problems we've had include having to press Ctrl-c and esc twice after the first time, and getting core dumps when altering tables thru the ISQL menu, and changes in the way ttys are handled (which may not be bugs.)
