Getting Extent Info from DBEXPORT?
Posted in 1995
I have two Unix system's that I manage 5 Informix database's on both. Each database has 70 to 90 tables in them. I would like to perform some space management by increasing and decreasing extents on various tables's in each database. Dbexport does not produce extent information for me to modify when I am ready to Dbimport them back. I know there are utilities out there that would do this if you compile them under C and ESQL/C. Unfortunetly, we do not have ESQL/C on either machine. Is there any other way I can get the same information as Dbexport *with extents*, without running tbcheck and manually updating each table. Thanks in advance! ----------------------------- Name: Lenny Deckard Email: ldeckard@databank.com Kansas, USA - Land of OZ -----------------------------
