Hi all, Im thinking about writing a small (50 programs, 50 tables) windows based, Client Server, ODBC application. Balancing cost and ease of use (learning curve) vs. program performance (must be good!), what do people think of using VB 4.0? Am I rediculous? Should I go with Delphi or PB? What do you think? (BTW - NewEra is not an option. Too expensive for such a small application!) Has anyone used VB along with Informix Online? What kind of performance (load times/query times) should I expect? What are the issues concerning attaching/opening external tables and what kind of problems should I expect to incur? Thanx in advance! (E-Mail would be great!!!) Bob
