How to get last backup from within ESQL/C?

Fellow Informix'ers, How does one get the last backup info. from within ESQL/C? What system tables keep this info? tb(on)monitor displays this info from the archive menu. I would need to access this info for Online 6.00 and 5.01. Any and all help on this matter appreciated. Thanx, Raj.
