Single table recovery is probably the single biggest complaint we and our clients have with Informix Online, compared to Informix 3.3. Informix's position on the issue seems to be that you cannot restore a single table without compromising the integrity of the database. Ummmm.... Informix, (knock knock), do you mind descending to the real world for a moment or two? You really want to restore an entire database if someone has trashed one single table in a 500-table database by leaving a "where" off an update statement? (Knocking again) Anyone there? Hello?
