Hmmm yup see what you're saying. Currently I just run "UPDATE STATISTICS LOW FOR TABLE...." without a column list specified (after MEDIUM DISTRIBUTIONS ONLY for the whole table and HIGH DISTRIBUTIONS ONLY for each of the index head columns). So I'll change the LOW to do the non-head columns only and check it out. Thanks. (The one true Malcolm)

Dostats is contained in the package utils2_ak in the IIUG Software Repository. Art S. Kagel
