LiveWire Pro & Informix Online Workgroup Server 7.12

It comes bundled with Informix Online Workgroup Server 7.12. So far, I have been unsuccessful in installing/configuring the Informix product. I get through the installation process, but then I get an error message at the end that reads: "Unable to create the <database_servername> dbSpace. Create this dbSpace using the Space Explorer tool." I try to create this dbSpace using the Space Explorer tool, but find that the menu item to create a new dbspace are not highlighted and the online documentation isn't much help. Does anyone know what the problem might be or tell me where I might look for some more information. I've tried both Netscape and Informix's website, but have found little to help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
