Workgroup Server crashes on NT

Hi all I've got some problem occuring randomly on a system I'm developing. Using NT4.0 SP3, IIS 3.0 with ASP, Informix Workgroup Server 7.22.TC1 and connecting to Informix via ASP/ADODB. My problem is that Informix doesn't exit the "logical recovery started" procedure on start up, instead it just seems to loop indefinitely. At least some of the times this has happened someone has been extending the pagefile size, and after the reboot the problem occurs. Other times someone might have been doing some NT system- and/or registry changes, not relating to Informix however. None of these things shouldn't affect Informix the way it does. I could cope with this, at least for sometime, if I only could do a restore from a backup to get on my feet again. But even that fails! When running onbar to restore the system, it' starts and finish salvage the logfiles and then loops forever doing the restore, but doing nothing.
