Hi, today I have a select wich cause crash of my informix database, this select has just a between criteria on a field date which is launched on a partionned table (175 million rows), the problem is the other fields work welle and for this field only the criteria between two date make the crash if I specify my_field=a_date it works with no problem, I have dropped all the index on this table, and the problem persist, so I've tried to create an index on this field but I got an error like my table is locked (Exclusive access), so I create the index online wich have worked and it solv the problem, but I was afraid and I exporty the table wxith external tables and load it again on a new pationned table. is there any explaination to this probelm ?? also I have the same problem on the rss server in wich I kept it as standalone server in order to do the diagnosis
