Subselect into collection?

Is it possible to perform a subselect returning the value in the outer
query as a collection?
Like -
SELECT o, LIST{((SELECT x FROM y WHERE x.a = t.b))} As z
FROM t- this fails with "A subquery has returned not exactly one row" [of
course], but is there a syntax that would return a collection type as
column z?
