tbinit error message

We have a SUN SparcStation 10 running Solaris 2.6. I have re-installed sql, esql/c, and online from tape. When I try to initialize the root dbspace I get the following message: tbinit: fatal error in shared memory initialization 17:08:49 semop failed errno:36 proc id 813 Any help in solving this problem would be gratly appreciated.
