Solved: -408 error...

Hi netters, Thanks to those who have made an effort to help me when I have encountered the -408 error returning my apps from the server. We have logged the ISTAR error message that writes: "the sqlexecd daemon cannot bind a name to the socket. Address already in use " The action taken was changing the port number in the /etc/services from 555/tcp to 1525/tcp. Does Informix engine require a unique port number for every server it resides on? If yes, then its strange since we have been using the same 555/tcp for all our servers and have work fine until this incident. I would still welcome any explaination on this issue.
